Meal prep before having a baby

Alright ladies, I know there are many of us having babies in the next several months. I thought it would be fun to post a thread of recipes that can be freezer meals on hand for after baby is born.. Because let's face it, our husbands are going to want to eat and they probably won't want to be preparing meals (at least I'm sure mine would prefer to not have to cook those first postpartum weeks ;)).

I've given up on doing that because our family is too big and I do not have enough freezer space to freeze that much food. I just have easy foods available in the freezer and pantry to be made into meals.
Here's another option. If you're having a baby shower, instead of things for baby, ask for meals! Women especially are more than happy to oblige. I held a baby shower like this for a friend of mine that was having her 3rd. She didn't need anything for the baby, but we wanted to bless her.

I think the last time I put together a bunch of crockpot freezer meals. I'm not sure how well they went over, lol. There may have been a couple winners. I'll look them up and see. We've really been blessed by our family, friends, and church. It's so nice but most of the time I end up gaining more weight after the birth because of all the casseroles and goodies! That and I can finally eat without getting heartburn!

I love doing freezer meals before baby is born, we actually have a few things still in the freezer from when Jack was just born. I'll have to come back to this post in a little bit (I'm expecting someone to stop by any minute or I'd do it now) and link some of the recipes I found off Pinterest that we enjoyed. I really like the idea of asking people to bring a meal, in the past I've asked some of our pregnant friends if I could bring them meals for before their baby was born. :)

Okay so here are a few we really liked:
Freezer biscuits

I also made pancakes, but you don't need to follow a specific recipe- any pancake/waffle recipe should freeze fine.
Ranch Parmesan Chicken

Slow Cooker Chicken and Gravy (we had this with toast and salad)

Chicken Parmesan Casserole

I also made chicken pot pie, but just my own recipe- but I'm sure any recipe would freeze okay.
We set up our spaghetti in a gallon freezer bag too. Just a big container Ragu sauce, crumbled raw ground beef, and a sliced up keilbasa sausage. Then all you have to do is thaw and dump in your slow cooker in the morning.
I made some Swedish meatballs and cooked them, then froze them and their gravy. So all we had to do was warm the meatballs and gravy up and cook some bowtie pasta. I froze the meatballs and gravy separately.
Keilbasa Corn Chowder-
Put all ingredients except the cream and cheese into a freezer bag. Thaw and cook in slow cooker, mix in the cream (or milk works too) and cheese about 30 minutes before eating.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taquitos- Make these up like the recipe says but then let them cool and place in freezer bags. Then just set oven to 400 and bake for about 18 or so minutes to reheat,

And there were a couple recipes we didn't care for, so I didn't share those and a couple more in the freezer we haven't tried. =)

Oh yum @RainyLondonFog! All of those sound so delisious! Reading through the list made me hungry :) Thank you for sharing!
