Sister Wives nod on Sailing Zatara (now touring New Zealand)

Sailing Zatara is the YouTube channel of a family of six, sailing around the world on their catamaran; SV Zatara.

I was watching a recent episode, and at the very end, where Renee (the mother, who puts the videos together) lists their social media; she mentions Facebook Sister Wives. I checked, and it doesn't seem to be present on the video before or after. I don't specifically recall what leads me to this impression, but I have the vague impression that they're Christian.

There's this https://sailingzatara.com/sister-wives which doesn't seem to shed any more light on the matter.

I downloaded the video comments and checked, the string "sister" only occurred once, and not in context of Sister Wives. "wife" occurs three times, not in context, and "wives" not at all.

One of the things I like about Sailing Zatara, is that Keith (the father) is obviously the one wearing the pants, and they all treat each other decently. It grates on my nerves watching people cutting each other down, especially within a family.

Notably, according to their Instagram, they're currently touring New Zealand by car.

Here's a screenshot of the nod in question.snapshot.jpg

Didn't see much sisterWIVES stuff but thanks for the info. It's always interesting to see families that take to the seas in sailboats. One thing you will never find on a sailboat that cruises is a dysfunctional family, it becomes life or death. And you have to have a good captain (father) if the family goes out more than once. I have seen more than a few times, the wife, children, whoever jump ship because the captain (father) didn't know what they were doing.

It's always been my dream. <wife> and I almost were able to make it possible years ago. But, the dreaded 'making money while cruising' is the bane of any would be cruiser. Looks like they found a way.

Moored to ride out a hurricane. We survived.
