Hi everyone!

I just joined the group, and I am very excited to "meet" and learn from you all. After a few years of prayer and study, I feel this is the why God is leading me. Now I just need to find that special family that I am meant to be with!

Welcome Lulu, I'm sure you'll find support and friends here, and maybe eventually something more - there are some great families here, as we can attest to from our time at retreats. Sorry we're not big enough in Europe for retreats there yet, maybe someday.

There are many types of families on here from the agrarian self sustaining to the yuppies, and everything in between. They all seem to love the Lord.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I am actually American, and from Colorado. I have lived abroad for the past 3 years, and will be moving back to the US at the end of next summer. I am hoping to be able to attend a retreat then! It sounds like fun and a real blessing!

Welcome to BF, Lulu. I had the privalege of visiting Switzerland many years ago. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. And the COLDEST!! But I am a Floridian so you can't expect much. :-) Looking forward to getting to know you.

Welcome, Lulu/Amanda. Where in Colorado? (It's a shame you're half a world away; there are so FEW of us around the Rockies it seems. The nearest retreats are always a LONG ways away... :) )

I am from Colorado Springs. And yeah, being so far away is difficult, but I am enjoying the less than a year that I have left! :)
