How does one answer when asked... "Are you married?"
Considering the one in question is the second wife; as in my life, this is so.

My answer to this question varies by who is asking it. For legal stuff, i.e. employment, insurance and the IRS the answer is that I am single. That is because I am not legally married. For anyone else, I am married. At work, I have to be particularly careful because it is very small. Even though we know that some stuff is supposed to be confidential, in such a small place, that rarely happens.
