Howdy all.

I am in Walla Walla, Wa at present headed for the Portland/Vancouver area for probably 4 weeks, more or less.

Purpose: trying to re-establish relationships with my 4 pretty-much-estranged-due-to-PM kids.

Please pray for us all. We did meet a bit over this past weekend, and it went better than expected. Check out what I've posted at https://www.facebook.com/cecil.wiedemann.

Anyway, I am prepared to live in my minivan for that time, making use of truck stops, rest areas, and Walmart parking lots. But ...

If anyone has a spare bedroom and could stand having an old rascal around who talks, probably even in his SLEEP! :lol: for part or all of that time, please shoot me a PM.

And if not, but you'd like to get acquainted over coffee or kimchee :roll: let me know. Expect to have lots of time to fill.

I'm new here, but I just wanted to say that I will certainly be praying for you from northern Idaho! Estrangement from family is a terribly painful thing to deal with.

FWIW, my wife was raised in PDX and I lived there for the better part of ten years from '93-'03. We met in a "ministry house" that I was living in at the time. Were we still there, I would surely have opened the door for you!

In the mean time, may the God of all reconciliation go with you, be your guiding light in all things, and grant you the reconciliation you seek!
