It could be possible to build at least decent hill from complains of how college today is useless and dangerous?

I see decent business opportunity from this issue. Sadly I'm in wrong country.

How about some of you Americans starts decent college. Look positive. In what else way you can meet so many young, nubile, free and just-in-marriable-age ladies?

To do it right, you'd almost certainly have to do it without "accreditation" and 501c(3) [etc] BS - so it would have MAJOR 'barriers to entry.'

Anyone can start a college. Getting it accredited is another thing.

Precisely that the problem.

You are seeking approval of people who had major fingers in creating current situation. Why would you ask for that?

You guys want college teaching Christian worldview, however it's useless unless we actually teach current state ideology because we won't get official papers and status.

You can teach Christian worldview and useful skills, instead of DEI crap. Besides, plan was to never ask for federal or state money. Instant savings on bureaucracy.

The idea of sending young people away from their roots to be taught/shaped by others has been shown to be a well intentioned disaster.

1. Sending young people away means young people are concentrated in certain areas instead of spread throughout the world learning from people who care for them.

2. Institutions always drift left.

3. Daughters should remain close if not in the same home as their Fathers.

4. When young people are encouraged to leave their roots and likely settle somewhere else (if at all) it creates a void in upcoming leadership in local churches and systematic shallow roots.

Apprenticeships and local leadership training is the better way, in my opinion.

Valid points. But, I think there is a place for solid Christian institutions of higher learning. I’m not an advocate of college for all, but the concept of the university is thousands of years old. It’s taken different shapes but the concept has been there. Some skills needed in the workforce (STEM) are hard to implement in the apprenticeship model. Classically Liberal Arts institutions that focus on training the brain for clear and rational thinking within the Western tradition are also valuable.

Full menus of options for families and their offspring are needed. Ones that serve dual purposes are even better.

This Christian college is known as “Hard Work U”. It trains in book learning and skills. I’m very interested in this one for at least one of my kiddos.

Actually, it’s not.

Grove City College in PA was the first to protest. Hillsdale just joined their lawsuit.

As one of only a few truly independent colleges in the nation, we accept no federal funding to avoid government interference and regulatory strings — ultimately to protect your freedom of conscience informed by biblical Truth. We invite you to discover how this principled stand frees you to find your purpose and bring light to the world through your vocation.

State grant and scholarship programs can be used to assist students attending Grove City College. Students should check with their high school guidance office or with the State Higher Education Assistance Agency or the Board of Regents in their state concerning state aid that may be available. Any state grants that are funded through federal support are not accepted by Grove City College.

In some culture sending young children to be fostering was cultural tradition. Didn't produce societal breakdown.

Explicit right wing stay right. Only those susceptible to takeover and changing purpose are vulnerable.

Family isn't vulnerable.

Boomer mentality. Generation in charge thinking only for themselves having zero interest in creating fantastic opportunities for incoming generations.
