Well my name is Jesse and I am 29 yrs old I have 2 kids. I have been watching the show sister wives and have becaome curious about this life style and I see how it can be good in many ways. But also I dont know anything about it. I am from california and its not a popular thing out here.

Welcome to BF. Polygamy is getting quite a bit of press lately because of Big Love and Sister Wives on TV, but also because of the raid on the Yearning for Zion community in Texas. Some of what we see on TV and read in the papers and news programs may be misleading because of the focused point of view of the writers or networks. May I suggest taking a broader view? Consider a Biblical Family as being more than plural marriage, but also Biblical marriage. This incorporates many things from God's Word that enrich marriage, even if there is only one wife. When we understand and are able to practice marriage Biblically, one is good and two or more is even better, but if the foundation isn't right, the family building will be askew. There are a lot of people here that have done the research, some are practicing Biblical marriage and all of us are still learning. Look around, visit, interact with this great group of people.
