Hi, I'm Vanessa. New around here, so not sure this is the place to introduce myself.
I'm not new to poly, been interested in it for a while. Been researching and activaly looking for a family for about three years maybe a little more.. lost count. I've made some wonderful friends along the way, some that I'm happy to see are part of this board as well. I've had a relationship with a family for almost two years, but needed to end it. I've recently started looking for a family again and have been blessed to have found the great family I've been talking to. They are very down to earth and I'm excited about how things are progressing. And we are all on the page that if it doesn't work out, we definately will be great friends, because we are so much alike. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I like what plural marriage families bring to the table. I like the idea that not only are you loved by your husband, there's at least one someone else there, that loves him as much as you do, but she loves you too. And on those days when hubby is driving you absolutely bananas and you just want to bash him over the head with a frying pan, there's someone there to stop you.. lol.. I know my children will have a more fruitful life with the influence and perpective of another woman around and possibly new sibblings.
I'm excited to be here, hopefully will make new friends on here as well!
