Hi, My name is Claire Ross. I have been reading this forum for a while now, and thought it was time to join. A little about me: I was raised in a 'non traditional' family, we have lived a life dedicated to God and family. I was married in the church in 1995, to a man devoted to leading a Godly life, church and family. My husband lost his battle with cancer this past December after 14 years of marriage. We have seven beautiful children in our family, and while we had time to plan for Jake's passing, my sister wife Joy and I have had a lot of conflict about how we will move forward now. I am hoping that by joining this group, I will gain more biblicaly focused insight on some of the decisions my family is facing.

Hello, Claire!

I am so sorry to hear of your husband's passing. Please share any needs that you have with this group and hopefully we can be useful to you and your family.

I look forward to getting to know you better on the forums and maybe in person someday.

Welcome to the forum. Enjoy the discussion and I am sure you will find fellowship and advice.

Dear Claire,

My condolences to you and your whole family. My goodness: the grace that God must see in you and Joy to trust you with the passing of your DH. We simply must trust in the knowledge that our Heavenly Father has in the timing of these things.

Has the Lord given you and your SW any direction as to what the future holds? Do you see yourselves moving forward under a new, common headship, or in differing directions?

Without trying to be too nosy, how are you and Joy supporting yourselves and the children? How can we as men and women of faith be praying for your family?

Please do not hesitate to share your needs on this forum. You may find our Father's hand extended in gracious ways.

Blessings,

We have not been here long, but already we see the advantage of this,

My family is blessed with a steady income from our cattle ranch, and some diversified investments. My brother owns land neighboring ours, and has taken over the day to day operations on our property. Joy is living at the ranch still, and I am holding down the fort in town. I do all of the accounting and investment management. Deep Breath!... I am swamped with the management aspect of our life, and homeschooling my three girls. Joy and I have differing opinions on where our family life is going, and for now at least I feel like I just need to focus my energy inward on the kids to keep every thing stable for them.

Trusting in God,
Claire

Greetings Claire! I hope you will find this group of people a great blessing to you during this very difficult time. We will certainly give you many varied opinions but I hope, of course, is for the Lord to reveal His best plan for you and Joy. Our prayers are with you.

Hope for the future,
Julieb

Hey there Curtis!

Good to see you post here again. How are you and your lovely wife doing these days anyways? I'm prayerful that all is well on the home front and otherwise. Hopefully Old Man Winter hasn't brought too many unwanted packages of illness to your doorstep this Winter season? Looking forward to the Spring season with the fresh air, SONshine & a new spring in my step! ;) As time permits, it would be nice to catch up and find out how your family is doing & whats new/old, etc. Take care, seeking and finding His will and Joy for the journey on the path Yeshua has you on.

F.S. :)

Greetings & Blessings Claire!

I'm prayerful that Yeshua will be faithful to administer His Healing, Restoration, Wisdom and new found Joy on the path He now has your family on. :D I'm hopeful that the Lord will see fit to place people on your path that will be a source of support, encouragement and a hand up in Christ! Please look around at the posts here, and as the Lord leads and time permits, maybe some of us here can be of help as well. Welcome to Biblical Families! :D

Warm Wishes for Yeshuas Provisions, Wisdom, Protection & Joy!
FRIENDS IN CHRIST,

So Sorry to hear that, I have also lost close family members to the Big C.

Thankfully, some have been able to overcome it.

Hoping you all find solace and peace and remember the good part of your life together

I am so sorry for you loss. All I can really say is that if you know what he wanted and that you and the sister wife know what he wanted then go in that direction. There is never anything easy about all of this but God will always show you the way. You just have faith and ask for guidance. I have never been in this situation but all I can say is may God be with you and the family. God Bless you

I am late as always. Hello all the same I hope you and your sw gain an understanding as to what it is you need to do. I am glad to see you have decided to come here for help cause most of the people on here are very understanding and quick to help with biblical questions.

Hi Claire,
