Hi All
We are new to this site. We are learning more and more about this life choice and are very interested in living it. We are here to learn more, meet more like minded people, and build friendships that last. We also would like to God willing add a second wife. God BLess.

Re: Newbie here

Well, welcome. Glad to have you. Tell us more about yourselves. We just love making new friends!

Re: Newbie here

More about us...hmm where to begin... we are what some consider a large family, yet to others we are a small family. My hubby is 50, I am 36. We have both been through divorce before we met each other. He had 3 children, I had 2, so we were what they considered a blended family. Since we have been married we have had 4 more. Together we have 9 ages 30, 28, 28, 18, 14, 12, 12, 11,and 8. Due to medical reasons we are looking for a second wife that is either a widow or single mother who has had all the children she will have but has room to love ours as we will hers. We homeschool our children as well as homestead. We have 7 living with us. Hubby is a hard worker while I am the homemaker. Hmm not sure what else to add here. We stay busy with everything going on but love bbq's, camping, hiking/nature walks, hunting, fishing, etc. We live a simple life and enjoy it. Hope this isn't too much info. lol

Re: Newbie here

WELCOME!! So nice to see new members! I am a newbie here myself and I am continually learning everyday. My husband and I have a blended family as well and had two children together ages 22,20,20,9 and 7. We only have three at home but I would love them all to be here! We live in Texas just north of Houston in the middle of the Sam Houston National Forrest. This is a very prayerfull journey for us that is something that takes time for us. I wish you the best and hope to see lots of posts!

Thanks so much for such a warm welcome to both of you! (Thanks also for not passing judgement on our family for being divorced and blended.)

Welcome from Texas. You will find that many of our loyal contributors have been hurt by the divorce bug. Most of us try to be non-judgmental.

Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Thanks so much for the tip on the intentional community....I tried looking for it and couldn't find it. I also typed it in the search box ...it didn't come up with any results. :( Am I looking in the wrong areas? Any help would be appreciated!
