The main point, extensively documented, is that Matthew 23:2 is mis-translated in most English Bibles, and all it takes is a single 'yod' (literally - ' ) to make the difference.

"He" was turned into "they".

What it actually says is:

"Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
All therefore whatsoever they HE [Moses] bids you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not."

Why does it matter? Moses's seat was real. They did try to sit in it. And Yahushua called the Pharisees out for "adding to" what He had Written.

But those hypocrites were PIKERS compared to the RCC.

Nehemiah Gordon rejects the New Testament and the Christ it reveals to us. He is not any kind of authority on the New Testament.

And also, Christ and Moses were both delivered to us in Greek. There are no Hebrew versions of either, as you yourself admitted in your post. The Septuagint is how God decided to deliver His Word to us. People recreating the Hebrew have to do so through the Greek. The Hebrew can not be used to change the Greek. The Greek has to be used to check the Hebrew.

And no one who denies Christ can ever be trusted to accurately critique the New Testament.

Unbelievable, the stuff they're pulling on the people. What I find fascinating - they still give the people the Holy Scriptures - the truth. The people accept it is the truth and the word of God. Yet, they still reject the Word of God in favor of the RCC. Even though there are examples after examples of people in religion (pharisees) deceiving the great multitude. Then you have Paul's warnings - "Study yourself approved." "Let the Word of God be true, and every man a liar." "Jesus (Yahushua) is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow." "The law (torah) is Holy, Righteous, and Good." And ofc from the Risen Messiah himself: "It's easier for Heaven and Earth to pass that the smallest iota to drop from the law." Yet they still throw YAH's perfect instructions under the bus - and also his righteous patriarchs - in favor of their own righteousness - which I believe comes from Lucifer (Satan) - the god of this world - deceiving all the nations of the earth.

Pray for them. But if they continue to reject the love of the truth - they have no excuse.

I read it. It was just silly. You don’t have the Hebrew. You can’t alter the Greek New Testament based off a Christ denier’s Hebrew translation of the Greek New Testament.

There wasn’t an error in the New Testament for 2,000 years until an unbeliever came around to fix it for us.
