Am I the only one that can feel that the end is near. I am seeing a increase movement of evil in the world. And a decrease movement of Christian believers using there spiritual weapons and armour to fight. We are at War this is no time to get relaxed. What are your OPNIONS.

I don’t know how you define the end, but I do believe that we are getting closer to the time period of the Millennium.
People have been pretty much taught by the churches that we are not at war and we have a right to live in victory. My experience is that the greater the revelation that you walk in, the greater will be the opposition that you experience. Poly is one of the things that the enemy fears and hates, and those attempting to live it righteously become elevated on his target list.

As far as spiritual gifts and weapons, don’t you know that Peter’s power petered out when Peter petered out?
Just kidding, but that seems to sum up the position of most of Churchianity.

So many churches have constantly taught that the end is upon us as a means of scaring people into salvation, at least many of the churches I was raised in. This creates a stale and desensitized church. You can only live in perpetual fear so long before the fear turns to apathy. I believe that as the end grows nearer and persecutions arise, you will see a much smaller but much more devoted and sincere church. I don't think that current issues are specifically signaling the end as we have had all of these issues before. However, I do think we should take these struggles as a reminder not to be complacent.

You are correct, and when that easy button evac error does not happen, many will feel betrayed by the church or even worse, Christianity.

Yes, enemy hates the family, especially that kind with one head, type of Crist. The goal is to revolt against creation.

@PeteR has always taught us boys that we still have another 1000 years to go (the Millenial Kingdom). We need to learn (I'm including myself as well) to always look at this with spiritual eyes and see the long term goal, the restoration of creation. With human eyes, it's easy for us to get caught up in the fear.
I was talking to @PeteR earlier today and said, "In order for the restoration of Israel (and Creation) to occur, the collapse if America MUST happen." Is it now or 4 years from now? I don't know. Either way, it's easier to swallow when one mental and spiritually prepares for what's coming and prophesied in scripture.

Psalm 91!

People tend to conflate things. As an example, we tend to have a hard time separating what we know to be true about God from experience, from what we were taught as children in whatever denomination we were raised in. The leaven gets mixed up with our real experiences and answered prayers so we can have a hard time identifying those things that have crept into Christianity over the years that really are not biblical and affect our world view.

America is a political state....but made up of people gathered out of the nations and a large number were and are believers. Just try and define 'Zion" using the scriptures alone. Certainly YHWH can preserve the righteous while judging the wicked, but I agree completely that preparing for prophesied changes is a very good idea. :)

If you are in Christ, you are already part of new Israel. All of Israel is already saved. There are two Israel's, political Oligarch created one (dear lord Rothschild's, sodom and Egypt spiritually) and saved new Israel. Two fig trees, one with good fruit and the other with the ax.
They don't teach that in non essential church.

We are ALWAYS getting closer to the end; by definition. Presuming the time of it is fixed anyway. And we are entering a period of tribulation. But not necessarily THE Tribulation anymore than it was for 7 million Ukrainians or 33 million Russians or 70 million Chinese.

If THIS communist revolution follows the trend of past ones we could easily see in excess of 40 million dead in the coming years. But not every such revolution succeeds.

But Trump is no Pinochet.

War, famine and strife are common features of late stage and failing empires. We will be no exception. But it is unfortunate we live in a post-Marx world.
