To tell or not to tell

I was married before I entered plural marriage. He passed from cancer 4 years ago. His side of the family has started asking questions. I'm not sure that I want to go there because of the lost of family and friends in my family when they found out about our family combining. I would appreciate any wisdom that you guys might give me.

Only you can judge who and when to tell. In my experience the things you fear most will not happen, however I would not throw all caution to the wind. When people have clear and convincing evidence in front of their eyes and do not ask the question then they probably do not want to know and you should not be in their face. The only rule I have for myself is NEVER lie.....you will dig holes you can never get out of.
