General Have a question

If only there were dozens of Mormon groups/denominations/sects that were NOT the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints headquartered in Salt Lake City...

Not every Mormon is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, not by a long shot. This only scratches the surface: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_...tter_Day_Saint_movement#Mormon_fundamentalist

But please, give me more examples of how you are wrong...

That's like thinking all Christians adhere to what the Pope says...
Clearly I touched a nerve... I confess I do not know a lot about mormons but I did look up the info presented by you. It was a good faith attempt to address your statements. In fact, I now note that you only addressed the first comment and not the second one that was more on topic and dealt with the specific chapter and verse regarding the law of Sarah that you first mentioned.

Please take a moment to reread that comment and respond if possible. I am not attempting to bait you, but your mentioning of the law of Sarah seems to be... compromised, within the text itself.

My 3rd great-grandfather came across on a boat from one of Brigham Young's mission trips to England and was one of the original polygamist members, with a total of 7 wives while he was alive. My first wife is pioneer stock, too, with polygamy on both sides.
OK, so how did you personally come to the Mormon faith? Were you indoctrinated into it?

We don’t need to litigate Mormonism. @UtahLife clearly identified an aspect of Mormonism that does relate to the topic.

He didn’t try to proselytize for Mormonism or against Trinitarianism. The comment can stand.

It’s never inappropriate to remind people that as an organization we will not compromise on the Apostle’s Creed but all are welcome to fellowship here if they can do so peacefully.
