Regarding the suspicions that this may have been a deliberate crash, according to RT many of the passengers on the airliner were Russian. They were innocent civilians overall - a figure-skating team - but maybe there was a target among them that someone in the US military wanted to take out? Rather brutal way to do so, but it does lend further credence to it being deliberate.

Adding fuel to your fire is that the helicopter's call sign was PAT25.

PAT is short for Priority Air Transport.

That designation absolutely rules out the possibility that this was a mere training flight. Just the same as "Air Force One" is not an aircraft, it is a designation for an airplane carrying the President. PAT is not a designation for the helicopter but for its mission. They were either enroute to pick up a VIP/cargo or they were carrying a now-deceased VIP or lost cargo whose presence aboard the flight is being kept secret for whatever reason.

If you look at this flight path for a previous flight designated PAT25 then you'll see this was a regular flight path for this designation.


That site shows two different flights with about the exact same flight path as the ill-fated flight.

The flights originate at Davison Army Airfield at Fort Belvoir near Fairfax, Virginia. They lift off, fly the same circuitous path, and then land after about an hour back at Davison.

These flights all follow the same weird flight path and are not mere training flights. Not in US Capitol airspace. No way.

US Capitol airspace is some of the most tightly controlled airspace in the world.

The airliners approaching to Reagan are always piloted by skilled and experienced pilots because even an accidental deviation from the authorized approach can provoke a lethal response from the military.


The airspace around Washington, D.C. is more restricted than in any other part of the country. Rules put in place after the 9/11 attacks establish "national defense airspace" over the area and limit aircraft operations to those with an FAA and Transportation Security Administration authorization. Violators face stiff fines and criminal penalties.

There is no way any pilot or crew is training in that area. No way. No way. I can't say that enough: No Way.
 
By the way, I know it seems conflicting that a flight that is called a Priority Air Transport is taking off and landing at the same location after flying a circuit. But that doesn't mean they're not picking up or dropping off something during the flight.

Most damning is the longer-term track data. PAT 25 veered TOWARD departing aircraft no less than three separate times. (I posted the video above.) Then it turned to intercept the [target] 200' ABOVE its assigned altitude (an UNFORGIVEABLE "mistake", even by an idiot, especially in restricted airspace) and hit the descending commercial jetliner at 400' AGL.

No way in #e!! that was a mistake. It was actually some pretty amazing flying. ;(

But I lean increasingly toward 'autonomous control' (also linked above) - and shudder trying to imagine crew seeing where they were headed, and unable to stop it, or even talk on the radio. (Note that ATC calls to "return to base" went UNanswered.)

If he tells America the Truth - they'll crucify him, and blame him for the subsequent crash of the entire commercial aviation industry. But, he should anyway.

This is all just the new bad guys in town pointing out the that the old bad guys were bad so that they can reset things into a worse system that looks and sounds better. The players of the old game are just collateral damage that are no longer needed. If evil is exposing evil people are likely to think they are doing a good thing. A lot of the people involved in brining in the new system likely even think they are doing good in their own eyes.
