The fact that you feel obligated to call other people posting as “opposition” goes back to my initial point.

You now see people who don’t share the same viewpoint as “opposition”. We’re supposed to be on the same team.

You and others were able to freely offer thoughts,. opinions or arguments as you wanted without being told you were speaking for someone else.

Now, you made a succinct case for why this topic is so profound for you. You want you fellow BF members and other believers in our doctrine to:

“Take heed! Don’t go chasing after forbidden fruit! Don’t assume that traditions of men are fullproof!”

This battle is the war, or at least a major front in the war. But all of these men can handle the heat or they should be able to.

There aren't "people" there's just me, I'm the only one you accused of commenting on the behalf of someone else and I'm the only person who used the word opposition. It would be nice if you stopped speaking about me without speaking to me, that's cowardly. I didn't continue "referring to others" as the opposition once I realized how wrongly you were taking it, I clarified. You've turned that one word into something it never was, and continue to do so, just to prove a point that you don't have. It's also "telling" that after all of the insults that have been thrown around here, you choose to repeatedly harp on my one fairly mild word choice as proof that "the knives are out."

I try to see any threads here as serving one of 2 purposes: Useful exchange of information that will be helpful in the future to others interested in the topic itself. Or community banter just for the sake of those involved, which will be less important to future readers. When an informational discussion has too much emotion and battling, it absolutely takes away from it's usefulness to those wanting to learn from it in the future - more than those who see themselves 'in the trenches' at the time realize. We aren't fighting a war here, at least - those we'd consider 'enemies' of everything Biblical and patriarchal, don't show up here. To give the impression that we are, defeats the purpose of the forum. Iron can sharpen iron, without needing to beat it into submission.

My impression is there is no longer any useful discourse going on in this thread - let's end this topic for now. Thread closed.
