What kind of music do you like?

I grew up in a very traditional IFB church. I loved hymns, patriotic music (think JW Peterson) and John Denver's Thank God I'm a country Boy, ....oh and Handel's Messiah.
As I got older, I listened to the local Christian radio station, and enjoyed church choirs, like FBC Dallas, and Truth.
I remember falling in love with Wayne Watson's music, and there was Steve Green and Larnelle Harris and Twila Paris and then 4Him and Point of Grace, ....oh and Avalon.
Over the years I have enjoyed Kutless, Big Daddy Weave Micah Tyler and Casting Crowns, and more recently Elevation Worship, ....oh and Kari Jobe, and Laura Story, and Meredith Anders.

But the music I have enjoyed the most, is the music I got to be a part of when I was at Prestonwoof Baptist Church, during what I affectionately call, "The Glory Years", when Bradley Knight was on staff, before he got promoted to be the worship leader. I like some Brooklyn Tab, particularly the stuff that Lari Goss arranged, but he arranged for a lot of different choirs, and had some amazing works. I still like Voices of Mobile as well. My current church has recently been introducing some off the music of Prestonwood that we had never done before, and I always enjoy that. There is SO MUCH more that they haven't done, and I know that they have in their library. Some of that, is due to suggestions I have made to the three different worship leaders we have had, since losing one that had been there for many years, Hopefully, the one we have now, will stick around for a lot longer than the previous two!

My wide is from Romania, and I really got blessed listening to BBSO! They have done a lot of Prestonwood and Brooklyn Tab music. :)

One about the journey to hell.

That one is not about a journey to hell. Played backwards, you will hear clearly "Oh Satan! He organized his own religion." That song more closely parallels the Church of Satan. Watch the video, "They Sold Their Souls for Rock 'N Roll", put out by Goodfight Ministries.

I really don't have time or obsession about playing songs backwards to find some hidden meaning. Someone would have to go live under a rock to stay away from the evil in the world today. I have something better, a God who promised to save me.

Well AMEN to having a God who has promised to save you! Just don't be led astray by followers of Aliester Crowley or Helena Blavatsky or Ann Bailey, or ... I could go on. Those evildoers had malicious intent, which is why we do run to THE ROCK to stay away from that evil that has in fact been introduced by these people amd their followers, and has become endemic in our society.

If you look at the Moon sideways the dark spots reveal a really sinister smile that's kinda creepy. Also, you said those three names together in the order you did, I'm thinking you should spin around counter clockwise and spit on the ground and say NEMA.

Wow I loved this!
Being one of those Torah girls, I love Messianic music. Imagine what a great surprise it was when the hostess/friend who owned the zimmer we were staying in asked us if we wanted to walk down to Joshua Aaron's house for his Sunday night worship jam! They did a slower bluesy rendition of this. We were on our third week in Israel...

The Dead South is cool. The idea though is to stay out of hell. Believers have that option. The Tibetan Metallica band is interesting.
I am not quite sure how you derived that from the lyrics. What I read sounds like a man singing about killing his wife! Sort of like a murder/suicide!

I thought the cinematography and beat was cool. Didn't pay much attention to the words. But now that you mention it, if you play it backwards it's a song about resurrection.

Like I said, you like to push things don't you. I am starting to realize how the people in the church you go to feel about your constant pressure about PM.

Didn't pay much attention to the words? Seriously! I guess if you do that, you can derive any meaning you choose!

I will do my part to awaken people to the truth. I don't worry too much about how they feel about it.

adroitness and sensitivity in dealing with others or with difficult issues.

You should try it my friend.

The song was posted by a non believer, I was just trying be friendly. He took the time to post what he liked, no one else said anything. I thought I would.

OK man! I just wanted to know how you concluded what that song was about, and as a matter of curiosity, I checked the lyrics, and couldn't understand how you reached that conclusion. Now I know.
